The clinical trials proved its efficacy and safety for the treatment of chronic migraine. Botox® should be offered as a treatment to people who live with chronic migraine. HOW DOES BOTOX® FOR MIGRAINES WORK?

When the product is used to treat migraines, is injected in the head, neck and pericranial muscles. It blocks the chemicals that transmit pain signals from your brain, stopping them before they get to the nerve endings in the head and neck area. Each Botox® treatment can last as long as four months, Botox® treatments are not effective in treating other types of headaches. Results will vary for each person.
